Why is nutrition important to the human body?

The human body contains chemical compounds such as water, carbohydrates, amino acids, fatty acids, and nucleic acids.

These compounds are composed of elements such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus and trace minerals.

Proper nutrition sometimes requires balancing these components using a clinical or scientific approach.

An assessment or detailed analysis will be done to determine a client's nutritional status that must take into account the state of the body before and after assessment and consultation, as well as the chemical composition of the whole diet and of all the materials excreted and eliminated from the body.
